DMCA / Copyright Policy

Moonati respects the intellectual property of others and expects our users to do the same. Moonati is a personal tool: users save content they choose, and Moonati processes it privately for that user. Users must only save and process content they own or have the right to use.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we respond to valid notices of claimed infringement and, in appropriate cases, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Reporting alleged infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on one’s behalf) and believe content processed through Moonati infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at hello@moonati.ai with the subject line “DMCA Notice” that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information for us to locate it (for example, the account and item involved).
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, and email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

What we do with a notice

Once we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question and, if we can identify them, notify the user who saved it. Because most Moonati content is stored privately within a single user’s vault, removal typically affects only that user’s copy.

Counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to hello@moonati.ai including: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, phone, and consent to jurisdiction as required by the DMCA. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue legal action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
