Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Moonati. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Moonati.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Moonati.

Acceptable use

  • Only save content you have the right to save.
  • Don’t use Moonati to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or violate the terms of the platforms you save from.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI features.
  • Don’t resell or share access in violation of your plan.

Your content

You own the content you save. You grant Moonati a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service (such as generating summaries and making it searchable). We do not claim ownership and do not use your content to train AI models.

Plans, billing, and trials

  • Auto-renewal: paid plans are subscriptions that automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). Your payment method is charged in advance through Stripe at the then-current price until you cancel.
  • Paid plans may include a free trial; you won’t be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then to avoid any charge.
  • Cancel anytime: you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Plan limits (such as monthly save allowances) are described on our pricing page and may change with notice.

AI-generated content

Moonati uses AI to generate summaries, highlights, tasks, and answers. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and may misrepresent the source. Always verify important information against the original source before relying on it.

Moonati’s output is informational only and is not professional advice. In particular, it is not medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and no AI-generated summary should be treated as a substitute for a qualified professional. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on Moonati’s output.

Service availability

We work to keep Moonati reliable but provide it “as is” without warranties. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moonati is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can export your data before deleting.

Copyright & DMCA

Moonati respects intellectual property rights. You may only save and process content you have the right to use. If you believe content processed through Moonati infringes your copyright, see our DMCA / Copyright Policy for how to submit a takedown notice. We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Moonati is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moonati and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $100.

Dispute resolution & arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. If a dispute arises, you and Moonati agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting hello@moonati.ai and allowing 30 days to reach a resolution.

If we can’t resolve it informally, you and Moonati agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. You and Moonati waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action — disputes must be brought on an individual basis only.

30-day opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing hello@moonati.ai with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out.” Opting out won’t affect any other part of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Moonati’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the date above and notify you of material changes.
